This project was a Scottish Water Q&SII Capital Investment scheme awarded to Purac Leslie Consortium. Purac Ltd, now re-branded to Enpure Ltd, was the process mechanical and electrical contractor working in consortium with George Leslie Ltd, who undertook all of the associated civil engineering and building works.

 
Due to the very compact nature of the design enabled the new treatment plant to be installed within the confined area of the existing site boundaries thus avoiding the need for additional land to be purchased
