Anglian Water decided to go down the pasteurisation route in order to pre-empt the recommendations of the new Code of Practice which requires that any sludge disposed to land must undergo some form of pathogen reduction treatment to achieve either a 'treated' or 'enhance treated' sludge status. These contracts were awarded to Enpure because our Enhance technology system proved to be the best solution in terms of whole life costs, operability and simplicity of design.
