Water
Enpure Ltd was awarded 3 contracts to provide water treatment works in Wuxi in the Jiangsu area of the country (contract valued at £3.5M, 800MLD) Zhangjiagang Water Treatment Works, north of Shanghai (£2.5M, 100 MLD) and Hepu (£3M, 500 MLD) to provide sophisticated water treatment for the city of Hepu in Southern China. These treatment works vastly improved the conditions for the population of these cities, formerly there was only very crude and unsophisticated water treatment methods in existence, including open sewers running throughout the city. Wuxi is not schedued for full completion until approximately 2012 as the plant aims to grow in capacity in line with the predicted rise in the local poplation over the last decade.
