Solid Waste

Capacity: 250,000 tons/year municipal solid waste & 50,000 tons/year biowaste

50,000 tons/year fed into BTA® hydromechanical pre-treatment

Start up: 2001 first start-up, 2008 start-up after refurbishment by BTA/Biotec

Original plant design included mechanical pre-treatment with drum sieve (>120mm) wet-mechanical pre-treatment consisting of suspender and drum sieve and wet anerobic digestion.

BTA refurbishment includes the BTA® hydromechanical pre-treatment BTA® gas mixing system for one digester and BTA® Process Control System.
